Clarkston Community Schools students are well-prepared for a future that excites them, and believe that they can achieve their dreams. As individuals, all of our students have a special skills set and passion. Below you will find numerous resources to help families and students prepare for the workforce.
Pre-Apprenticeship is a program that is designed to prepare individuals to enter and succeed in a Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) or job. Pre-Apprenticeships may last a few weeks to a few months. Pre-Apprenticeship Programs have varied program elements; however at the core, places an individual towards a pathway in a Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Oakland County Michigan Works! Waterford offers youth services to individuals between the ages of 14-24 to assist with educational and employment goals. Guided by a Career Coach, each participant develops a unique plan that allows them to achieve their goals and structure their career development.
Students have the opportunity to see what modern manufacturing really look like and explore career options by touring local facilities with the latest equipment. They get to experience firsthand the exciting technologies and speak kwth people that love what they do.
