Fall senior Meeting On September 11th, Principal Gary Kaul and the CHS Counseling staff met with the senior class to deliver pertinent information regarding senior year timeline & expectaions, cap and gown ordering, and the college application process.
Future Seniors Meeting On May 31st, CHs counselors met with the class of 2019 to discuss everything they need to do to be ready for senior year and applying to colleges in the fall.
Scheduling for the 2018-19 School Year The following presentation was delivered to students grades 9 through 11 at the end of January/beginning of February.
9th Grade Parent's Curriculum Night On January 19, 2017 Principal Gary Kaul and the CHS Counseling staff delivered information to 9th grade parents on curriculum offerings at CHS. Items covered included specialized programs, graduation requirements, and scheduling timeline for their current 9th grade students.
Collegiate Athletic Eligibility/Recruiting On November 30, 2017 CHS was very lucky to have Steve Corder, U of D Mercy Assistant Athletic Director in charge of NCAA compliance present to our student-athletes on the in's and out's of college athletics eligibility and recruiting processes.
On the evening of December 7, 2017, CHS Counseling staff & admissions representatives from Michigan State University, Hope College, and Oakland University discussed current trends in college admissions, the college selection and application processes, what students can do to "stand out", and finding the "right fit"college.
