Advanced Studies

We are committed to designing and implementing programs that help students to achieve success for the future. We offer the Advanced Studies Program and Diploma Endorsement for students who wish to participate in a continuously rigorous, challenging academic program that will lead to an Advanced Studies Program endorsement at the end of the senior year.

In-District Applicants

In-district students who wish to receive an Advanced Studies endorsement must apply for the endorsement by December 17th of their senior year. In order to receive the endorsement, students must meet all of the requirements in grades 9-12, as outlined in the application.

To be considered for the program, students must have demonstrated academic ability in the core curriculum by earning at least a 3.0 grade point average in language arts, science, mathematics, social studies and foreign language.

Parents will sign a letter of intent indicating that they understand and accept responsibility for ensuring that their child enrolls in the required classes in the Advanced Studies Program.
